Program Overview

"Your Guide to Becoming an Outstanding Researcher: With You Step by Step" is a structured workshop series designed to support new researchers and postgraduate students throughout their academic research journey. The program provides practical academic guidance, procedural awareness, and essential research skills to help participants progress with clarity, confidence, and compliance with academic, administrative, ethical, and legal requirements.

Main Objective

The main objective of this program is to provide academic support for new researchers and postgraduate students, helping them transform their research journey from routine procedural steps into a well-guided, meaningful, and legally sound learning experience. The program aims to equip participants with preventive skills that reduce the risk of procedural delays, administrative difficulties, and ethical or legal issues that may hinder their academic progress.

Target Audience

This program is designed for new researchers and postgraduate students who are preparing for, beginning, or progressing through their postgraduate research journey.

Program Structure

The program consists of seven workshops. Each workshop is two hours long and will be delivered once every two weeks. The series will begin on Friday, 5 June 2026, and continue according to the schedule below.

2 Friday, 19 June 2026 Administrative Procedures for Postgraduate Students Awareness of administrative and legal requirements, including registration, enrolment renewal, leave, postponement, using the postgraduate guide, and understanding researchers' rights and duties.
3 Friday, 3 July 2026 Effective Communication with Academic Supervisors Seminar presentation skills, thesis topic registration, constructive communication, and positive engagement with feedback, criticism, and academic comments.
4 Friday, 17 July 2026 Time Management and Priority Organization in the Researcher's Life Achieving balance between study and personal life, with practical strategies for managing academic and administrative pressure.
5 Friday, 31 July 2026 Research Skills and Personal Development for Researchers Enhancing effective scientific planning and research skills, while developing the personal competencies required to overcome academic obstacles.
6 Friday, 14 August 2026 Challenges and Obstacles During the Research Journey Dealing with administrative obstacles, unexpected research challenges such as changes in results, psychological pressure, and preparing alternative plans.
7 Friday, 28 August 2026 Discussion Day and Academic Defense Skills Administrative and legal procedures for thesis defense, academic defense skills, and future steps after obtaining the academic degree.
